Mr. Cote began his corporate foreign exchange career with Bank of America in 1989. In this position Mr. Cote realized that there was a large disparity in service and pricing between the Fortune 100 corporate clients of the world and the middle market corporate clients. In 1997 Mr. Cote, along with his Partners, founded Commonwealth Foreign Exchange to cater to this undervalued market. In September of 2001 Mr. Cote spearheaded the acquisition of NewMarkets International. (aka Sonnet Financial) This successful acquisition brought together the very personalized customer service orientation of Commonwealth with the trend-setting technical sophistication of NewMarkets.

Mr. Krekel manages the day-to-day spot and forward trading of Commonwealth. Mr. Krekel began his career trading financial futures with ITG Ltd. From there, he moved to Merrill Lynch where he continued trading financial futures and then to SWC, Inc. where he served as Managing Director. Mr. Krekel began working with AFEX in 1994.

Mark A. Noble
Vice President, Trading & Operations

Mr. Noble brings over 16 years of experience managing various financial operations ranging from Fortune 100 multi-national foreign exchange management programs to publicly traded investment portfolios. Mr. Noble joined NewMarkets International in 1999, and is directly responsible for the daily financial operations of the company, including trading, commercial banking, and customer fulfillment. Mr. Noble is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton, with a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance.
